Everyone is joining me in trying to adjust to the time change last weekend. For me it’s always a couple weeks struggle every spring and every fall.

Rep. Kevin West, R-Moore, today convinced enough of his House colleagues to send to a vote of the people a proposal that could permanently end Daylight Savings Time in Oklahoma.

House Speaker Charles McCall was overwhelmingly reelected speaker-designate for the 59th Oklahoma Legislature by the House Republican Caucus Monday. First elected speaker in 2016 for the 56th Legislature, McCall, R-Atoka, is already Oklahoma’s longest-serving Republican speaker and is now on track to become the longest-serving speaker in state history.
