The Mustang slowpitch softball team had to travel to Tulsa last week for the start of the postseason. Despite being the reigning 6A champions, if they were going to defend their crown it was going to have to start on the road.

Field set for basketball tournament

Even though the 2021 basketball season has concluded, the Mustang athletic department has its eyes on the 2022-23 campaign. Last week MHS announced the teams that will compete in its annual Cornerstone Bank Mustang Holiday Classic, which has become one of the prime tournaments in the state.

Lightning strikes twice

Heading into their matchup with Tulsa Union, the Mustang girls basketball team knew exactly who they were facing. They had lost to the same team the previous year in the state quarterfinals and Mustang High School was looking to turn the tables on the Redhawks.
