Estimated 50 residents impacted after line freezes, floods
An estimated 50 residents of a Yukon nursing home were evacuated during a water leak Friday evening.
Yukon Fire Chief Shawn Vogt said dispatchers received a call around 5 p.m. of a fire alarm going off at the Residence at Yukon Hills. A water leak occurred on the second floor and was leaking into the first floor. He attributed it to a water line freezing during recent weather and thawing out.
