A native Oklahoman and Canadian County resident, historian Dee Cordry’s latest book, “Children of White Thunder Legacy of a Cheyenne Family 1830-2020,” is drawing long-overdue attention to a subject often hidden or misrepresented. Released in April, Cordry’s book details 190 years of Cheyenne history. “The Cheyenne and Arapaho people lived in the Yukon and Mustang areas,” Cordry said. …
