MOORE — A little more than a month ago, there were very few, if any, teams playing better than the Mustang boys basketball squad.
They had risen to No. 2 in Class 6A and seemed to be a shoo-in for the state tournament.
But then the Broncos lost six of their next seven games. While they were able to close out the regular season with a pair of wins, the remnants of the slump never disappeared.
