Before last week, the Mustang boys had never won the Cornerstone Holiday Classic.
In fact, in the previous three years of the tourney’s history, they had never even made it to the title game of their own tournament.
That streak came to a halt Dec. 29 when the 10th-ranked Broncos defeated No. 9 Putnam North 62-55 in the finals of the Cornerstone Holiday Classic.
