Senior sets sights on Gold Ball

Back on Feb. 8, Talia Pogi reached a milestone. The senior guard for the Mustang girls basketball team topped 1,000 career points in a win over Deer Creek. The momentous bucket for Pogi came on an open 3-pointer. Before the ball had even come out of the net, Pogi was sprinting toward her bench to celebrate the moment with her teammates and coaches.
