Richard “Rick” C. Kuhlman passed away at the age of 63 surrounded by his loved ones on November 25th, 2021 in Loveland, Colorado.

His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile.

Despite the pain, Rick came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Rick was born to Curtis and Lidwina Kuhlman on August 16th, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Rick and his younger brother, Johnny, grew up in Mustang, Oklahoma where Rick graduated from Mustang High School.

Upon his graduation, Rick attended Oklahoma State University and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an emphasis on safety.

Rick began his career as a Safety Engineer in 1980 when he was employed with Phillips Petroleum.

His 36 year career with Phillips spanned across multiple states and countries.

He spent the last 15 years of his career with Phillips living in Anch-orage, Alaska and working on the North Slope before his retirement in 2017.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Barbara, son Cody, his wife Vickie, and their children Ethan and Elise to whom he was a proud papa; his brother Johnny, his wife Pam and their children Curtis and Kevin; and numerous extended family members. In lieu of flowers, a
