The Yukon cross country teams finished the 2017 season at the 6A state championships last Saturday in Edmond.
The Millers boys took eighth-place as a team and the Yukon girls placed 14th. Bartlesville took first-place in the boys’ team standings and Norman placed first on the girls’ side of the course.
Edmond Memorial’s Jed Helker was the top runner in the boys’ competition with a time of 15:46.91 and Riley Rigdon of Bartlesville was the first-place runner on the girls’ side with a time of 18:15.81.
Here are the individual Yukon boys’ results:
Elijah Ankrom took 21st place with a time of 16:41.61. Kolby Mccoy finished in 23rd place with a time of 16:44.48. Noah Hanscom placed 46th with a time of 17:12.73. Kohl Kimmel took 66th place with a time of 17:26.42. Grant Olander finished in 75th place with a time of 17:33.89. Mikael Stamm placed 77th with a time of 17:38.01 and Kyle Crow took 93rd place with a time of 18:01.93.

Elora Jones took 17th place with a time of 19:38.01. Asley Baker finished in 86th place with a time of 22:05.36. Desiree Walker placed 99th with a time of 22:35.05. Peyton Brenneis took 102nd place with a time of 22:45.04. Savannah Yancy finished in 103rd place with a time of 22:59.78. Myka Heimbach placed 104th with a time 23:14.39 and Lauren Brown took 107th place with a time of 23:48.53.
