Yukon’s two public swimming pools are scheduled to open for the summer swim season this weekend.
City officials said both City Splash, which is located in City Park, and Kimbell Bay, which is at Kimbell Park, will open for the season at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Season passes, which work at both parks, are on sale now for $100 for a family four-pack. The cost for each additional pass is $20. Individual passes are available for $40.
Daily admission to the pools is $3 for anyone over 4 years old, and $2 for seniors.
Officials said City Splash will be open Monday through Thursday from 1 to 7 p.m., Fridays from 1 to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.
Kimbell Bay will be open Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is closed on Sundays.
The city’s splash pad, which is in Sunrise Park, will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. There is no charge for using the splash pad.
