Erle Martin Walker, Jr., age 68 died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 at his home in Mustang after a period of failing health. He was born June 22, 1948 in Houston, Texas to Earl J. and Flora (Mueth) Price. He grew up in the Houston (Harris Co.) area and was a graduate of Galena Park High School. After high school he attended college and served in the US Air Force.
He moved to Las Vegas in 1976 and then to Oklahoma City area in 1977. The family moved to Mustang in 1989 and have lived here ever since. Erle worked most of his adult life in security, retiring from Honeywell in 1999. After retirement he worked for Bailey Bro. Heat and Air and Parkview Hospital. He also worked as a reserve deputy for Oklahoma County from 1984 until 1992.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Patricia of the home, two daughters Tina Walker Moore of Mustang, Eldeen Walker Hankins and husband Eric both of Mustang and one son David Earl Price, II of Avignon, France; also by five grandsons Justyce-Lee, Joshua, Hunter, Colton and Logan.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil’s Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang.
