Dayna Dyan Dunning Clark, age 44, died on Oct. 28, 2016 at her home in Oklahoma City after a short time of failing health. She was born Nov. 10, 1971 in Wichita, Kansas to Mark and Rita Gomez Dunning. She grew up in Mustang and was a 1990 graduate of Mustang High School. She began her career with DHS and was presently working for OKESC as a program specialist. She was a very creative lady who loved to craft. Dayna loved to cook – her baking was always a much anticipated part of any celebration. Her infectious laugh brought joy and comfort to all who knew her. She was Catholic, friends with many and always ready to help anyone.
She is survived by her parents Mark and Rita Dunning of Mustang; one brother Donovan Dunning of Edmond and one sister Darlene Childers of Mustang; nieces Allison and Angelica Childers and nephew Mark Childers and great-nephew Wyatt Childers; also by her grandfather Norman Dunning of Lewiston, Idaho.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Nov. 1 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Mustang under the direction of McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang.
