Mustang Public Schools announces the filing period for two school board seats.
Starting Monday, Dec. 5 through Wednesday, Dec. 7, the Canadian County Election Board office will be open for candidates to file for seats 2 and 4. The office will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The No. 2 seat has a term of five years and the No. 4 seat has two years remaining for a five-year term.
Mike Kessler, current board vice president, holds the No. 2 seat currently and Chad Schroeder is in the Nov. 4 seat.
He was appointed when Amanda Strassle resigned after it was discovered she was short of continuing education credits required to be on the board.
