Marie McBride, age 90, died on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016 in Oklahoma City with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 20, 1925 in Dexter, Texas to Henry T. and Mary E. (Martindale) Lambert. She grew up in Ada, where she attended school. She lived most of her adult life in Dallas, Texas, Oklahoma City, and later in Mesquite, Texas where she owned and operated “The Bargain House” for 26 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Truman, one son Curtis, three grandsons Jason, Zachary and Preston; also by two sisters Evelyn and Thelma and two brothers T.H. and Woody.
Survivors include one son Coy McBride and wife Dione of Grapevine, Texas, three daughters Carol Timm and husband Alan of Mustang, Cynthia McBride of Whitesboro, Texas and Charlotte Bremermann and husband David of Metarie, Louisiana; also by 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 16 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, with interment following in the Millcreek Cemetery, Millcreek, Oklahoma.
