Fredrick G. Siems, Sr., 80, of Mustang, passed away Sept. 17, 2016, at Willowood Memory Care Center in Mustang.
Fred was born in Galveston, Texas, to Henry Carl Siems and Lila Mae Perren Siems on Sept. 7, 1936. He attended Bethany-Peniel College/SNU. He married his sweetheart, Lillian Faye Bevill, Aug. 25, 1956, in Texas City, Texas. They recently celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Fred retired from Brown and Root where he was an administrative manager. His career took him to numerous cities where he and Faye made many enduring friendships. He was a life-long member of the Church of the Nazarene and an active member of the Mustang Church of the Nazarene.
Despite his shy smile, Fred leaves a strong heritage of Christian love influencing four generations. Devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Fred was a dedicated prayer warrior for his family. Though he will be greatly missed, they know he is safe in the arms of Jesus.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul Siems; two sisters, Estella Leining and Emma Leining; and one son, Dr. Fredrick G. Siems, Jr.
Fred is survived by his wife, Faye; a brother, Carl Siems of Seabrook, Texas; two sons, Henry (Charlotte) Siems of Edmond, and Jeff (Sallye) Siems of Bethany, one daughter, Melanie (Kevin) Metcalf of Yukon; one daughter-in-law, Dr. Ami Siems (Bill) Dillard of Yukon; 29 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, at Mercer Adams Funeral Home, 3925 N Asbury Ave, Bethany, OK 73008.
Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Mustang Church of the Nazarene, 700 East State Highway 152, Mustang.
