Dessie Lee Miller, age 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 at her home in Yukon. She was born May 6, 1941 in Coalgate to Charles and Hazle (Miller) Lewellen and grew up in southeastern Oklahoma. She moved to Oklahoma City in 1974 and to Yukon in 2001. She was a member of The Bridge A/G Church in Mustang. Dessie worked many years for the Midwest City-Del City school district.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Lucille and Louise, and one brother, Johnny Joe.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, William E. “Bill” Miller of the home; two sons Stacy Lee Miller and wife Dianna of Edmond, Eddie Miller and wife Cherie of Tuttle, and one daughter Shellie Sabo and husband Mike of Yukon; also by five grandchildren: Bjorn, Paige, Kelton, Stacia and Dalton, and three great grandchildren: Presley Joe (PJ), Addison and Cort.
Services were Sept. 13 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang. Interment followed at Ft. Sill National Cemetery at Elgin, Oklahoma.
