Sandra Kay Chandler, age 53, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016 in an Oklahoma City hospital after a short illness. She was born May 3, 1963 in Denton, Texas to Larry A. and Jeri Ann (Hornak) Cervenka. She grew up in Oklahoma City and was a graduate of Mount St. Mary High School.
She moved to Mustang in 1991 and attended Yukon Beauty College after which she worked at Kut N’ Up Salon. Sandy was a beautiful woman inside and out who loved to dance and sing. She was full of life. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sandy is survived by her husband Rick of Mustang, sister Laura Busker and brother Richard Cervenka of Oklahoma City, also by daughter Christina Chandler of Mustang, son Colby Chandler of Yukon, and daughter Cassandra Pope and husband Ryan of Mustang.
She was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren; Ayden Pope, Julyette Pope, Allie Pope, and Riley Pope. Sandy is also survived by her sister-in-law Rhonda Price and husband David, mother and father in law Dale and Betty Chandler. She had many nieces and nephews; Brandon Chandler, Jason Price, Jeremy Price, Jacey Price, Rachael Cervenka and Lindsey Busker.
Memorial services were Sept. 7 in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang.
