Look inside Yukon’s Police Station during National Night Out

Tour the police station and have a free hot dog. The Yukon Police Department will host National Night Out on Tuesday at 6 p.m. This event will be held at the Yukon Police Department, located at 100 S. Ranchwood Blvd. in Yukon.

In addition to serving free hot dogs, officers will be on hand to meet and visit with citizens and provide tours of the police station.

Local groups will also be on hand with important safety information regarding storm water, the Mabel C. Fry Public Library, Citizen Police Academy and more. Neighborhood Watch groups are also encouraged to attend.

“Not only does National Night Out provides a great opportunity for our officers to connect with citizens, but also for citizens to connect with other safety agencies in the community.” said Police Chief John Corn.  “Events like this help keep our citizens informed, and help Yukon continually top lists of the safest communities in Oklahoma.”

The Yukon Police Department is one of Yukon’s best departments. Optimism, energy and opportunity inspire the best in everything we do. To learn more about Yukon’s best, visit www.cityofyukonok.gov or call 405-354-2553.
