Frankie Ruth Dinwiddie Nabors, age 79, on Aug. 21, 2016 while traveling back from a family gathering in Topeka, Kansas, the Lord called Ruth home to heaven where she joined her husband, Bobby.
Ruth was born to Alva and Lavelle Dinwiddie on July 13, 1937, in Chickasha. She was the fifth of 12 children. Family was the most important thing in Ruth’s life; her house was a favorite gathering place, always filled with laughter, comfort and love.
She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bobby; her parents; two sisters Laverne and Jeannine; one brother Donald Ray and one daughter-in-law Sandy Nabors.
Ruth is survived by her four children, Cyndi Johnson and husband Christian, Bobby Jr., Debbie McGinnis and husband Randy, Pam Brown and husband Ronnie, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and eight siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25 at the Southern Hill Church of God in Oklahoma City with interment at 2 p.m. in the Sappington Chapel Cemetery, Cowden, Oklahoma under the direction of McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang.
