Dorothy Irene ‘Dot’ Kennedye, age 73, passed away on July 20, 2016 at her home in Mustang after a long illness.
She was born Feb. 21, 1943 in Tecumseh to Lloyd and Irene (Aldridge) Wittmann. She grew up in Tecumseh and was 1962 graduate of Tecumseh High School.
She was a longtime resident of Mustang and a retiree of FAA where she was a production controller. She loved fishing, boating and going to the cabin at the lake, but the highlights of her life were her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Joe and one granddaughter Ashley Lynne.
Survivors include her husband David of the home, two daughters Gina Williams and husband Mark of Mustang and Angie Oden of Edmond; also by six grandchildren Tyler, Cache, Koda, Patrick, Jackie and Bill and three great-grandchildren, one brother Dale Wittmann and wife Edwinna of Shawnee and one sister Lena McMahan and husband Carroll of Tecumseh. Graveside rites were July 22 in the Memorial Pavilion at the Mustang Cemetery under the direction of McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang.
