Henry Holder, born August 2, 1925 in Hebron, Texas passed away July 9, 2016 at his home in Mustang.
His family moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma when he was a young child. He grew up in the southwest Oklahoma City area, graduating from Capitol Hill Senior High.
He served his country proudly during WWII in the Army Air Corp. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 41 ½ years service. He was preceded in death by his lovely wife Leta, after 55 wonderful years of marriage; his father and mother, Henry and Anna Holder, and one brother Earle Holder. He is survived by one daughter, Mary Beth Whomble and husband, David of Midwest City; one son Mike Holder and wife, Kathryn of Mustang, Oklahoma and one sister Patricia Towner of League City, Texas.
He’s also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and 2 great great granddaughters.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. July 15 at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, under the direction of McNeil’s Funeral Service.
