The Southwest Covenant girls’ basketball team got back on the winning track Tuesday night with a 52-47 win over Calumet.
The Patriots took it on the chin in the second quarter as Calumet outscored them 18-3 to take a 31-18 lead into the half. Southwest Covenant returned the favor in the third quarter, outscoring the home team 17-5 and it closed out the game in the fourth quarter.
